Made in the image of God, all of humanity benefits from this ultimate character of God – love. It is this love that has the power to make us like Him again after being separated by the sin of disobedience committed by our fore-parents. That relational Spirit of love that God has for the world, He offers to each of us individually. He loves you and promises you an abundant life in the here and now and everlasting life in the hereafter. If you are not now enjoying an “abundant life’, I invite you to get connected to Him. He promises “never to leave you nor forsake you”. Heb. 13:5 KJV  You have the power to make that connection. We connect with God the Father through prayer. Prayer is simply accepting the fact that God created us, knows all about us, and invites us to communicate with Him. Communicating with God builds a relationship that enhances growth spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.

The power of love transforms the individual from the normal sinful state into which we were all born, to the state where we now have a desire to be like Christ. Here we begin the process of becoming matured in Him. Yes, we are sinners, but now we are growing in Christ becoming more and more like Him each day. We are not expected to become spiritually matured instantaneously, but we grow in Him. Christ forgives our sins, cleanses us from all unrighteousness and covers us with His robe of righteousness. Today, you are authorized to enjoy the freedom to be a child of God. That freedom enables you to live free from sin and enjoy the abundant life that He has promised you.
